Department of Education issues Final TAG findings:  The Oregon Department of Education issued findings that Portland Public Schools is not in compliance with the Oregon TAG mandate and an order requiring a plan of correction.  The findings were accompanied by a letter containing additional recommendations to PPS.  On May 29, 2008, Portland submitted a Plan of Compliance.  It submitted a final report on October 15, 2009.  Action from the state is still pending....

The District TAG advisory committee has reviewed its position paper on services for TAG students.  The revised document was adopted by the committee on February 27, 2002.  The original position paper can be read online at first position paper
